Movers on Marina Walk plan the day from the back of the building. Marina Walk itself is a pedestrian promenade lined with cafés and restaurant terraces, so no truck loads from the waterfront side; the towers above it are served from loading bays and basement ramps on the inner road behind, and the crew has to know which one belongs to your building. Send us the tower name and the crew will usually already know.

Why the front door is the wrong door

It is natural to think of your building by its waterfront entrance: the lobby that faces the yachts, the café next door. For a move, that side is irrelevant. Furniture leaves through the service lift, which opens to a back corridor, a loading bay or a basement level. The truck reaches that point from the road that runs behind the promenade. If the driver heads for the waterfront, he will end up stuck between bollards and pedestrians.

Lift slots and footfall

Building management on the promenade stretch usually gives moves fixed windows, and many prefer mornings, when the lobby is quiet and the waterfront is not yet busy. Book the apartment movers for the start of your window, and have boxes packed the day before; the packing service helps if your slot is short.

Heat and glass

Towers here face the water, and many apartments have full-height windows and glass balcony doors. Glass dining tables and big mirrors are common. In summer, the crew will try to finish loading before late morning, since the bay can be hot and the truck even hotter.

Moving somewhere nearby

Plenty of Marina Walk moves go only a few hundred metres, to Marina Promenade or across to the Dubai Marina Mall area, or out to JBR. Short distance does not mean short paperwork: both towers need a permit and a lift slot, ideally on the same morning. Ask building management on both sides before you request a quote.

What to send us

The tower name, floor, move date and slot, the destination, and a video of each room. Mention anything unusual: a piano, a large aquarium, heavy planters or a wall-mounted TV.

Moving questions from Marina Walk

Can the truck stop on Marina Walk?

No. The promenade is for pedestrians and café terraces. Trucks use the building's rear loading bay or basement ramp on the road behind the towers.

When is the quietest time to move out of a Marina Walk tower?

Early morning, before the cafés set out terraces and before the school-run traffic builds on the inner Marina roads. Many towers also prefer morning slots.

Do I need to tell the crew about my balcony?

Yes. Waterfront-facing balconies often hold loungers, planters and outdoor rugs that are easy to forget. List them so they are wrapped and counted in the quote.
